This X-Plane is representative of a real B-1B, I used my own photographs for accuracy and paint work.
There is plenty of information about the B-1 on the web. The major differences between the four prototypes and the B version:
* New tail shape with large vortex generators and 'scabbed' on chaff & flare dispensers,
*
New wing-fuselage junction with fewer moving parts and a completely different shape,
* New engine intakes retain the animated side doors which open when the gear is lowered,
* New pitot probes (6) around the nose,
*
heavier all up weight, more fuel, more weapons.
I have deliberately disabled the lower rudder - it looked awful and was only part of the stability system in the real B-1 anyway. There is ample rudder control with the upper rudder only (its the only part the pilots move). I added lots of little details which I may go back and add to the prototypes too :-)
Check out the Boeing home page for the B-1B.
